Nina Kantcheva, a Senior Policy Adviser at the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP - will present the Equator Prize, one of the UN global initiatives that promotes the rights of the Indigenous Peoples and sustains their self-determination. Ms. Kantcheva works to support initiatives and convenings that put the needs and priorities of Indigenous Peoples and local communities at the center. She is also co-founder of Tashevs Aerials, an initiative to democratize drone technology.
