Empowering Youth 
A non-profit organization based in NY, with affiliates in Africa. Their mission is "Local Change Through Global Exchange," empowering youth to become positive agents of change in their communities. They offer leadership training and support partner initiatives, one of which enables container donations from the US of books, IT, sports equipment and medical supplies to be sent to Africa.

Our 21st CTAUN Conference at UN Headquarters in New York "WAR NO MORE" honored the 75th anniversary of the United Nations and its purpose as outlined in the Charter.

The CTAUN GLOBAL CITIZEN AWARD was established in 2017 to honor the memory of CTAUN co-founder Barbara Walker. The first recipient was The Right Honorable Gordon Brown in 2018, followed by Richard Curtis in 2019. The 2020 recipient was Cora Weiss.
