Dr. Baumann is currently Visiting Research Professor at NYU, focusing on international governance of climate change, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, UN Management Reform and the political economy of Africa; He served as UN Assistant Secretary-General, and Special Advisor on Environment and Peace Operations

Our 21st CTAUN Conference at UN Headquarters in New York "WAR NO MORE" honored the 75th anniversary of the United Nations and its purpose as outlined in the Charter.

The CTAUN GLOBAL CITIZEN AWARD was established in 2017 to honor the memory of CTAUN co-founder Barbara Walker. The first recipient was The Right Honorable Gordon Brown in 2018, followed by Richard Curtis in 2019. The 2020 recipient was Cora Weiss.
