Felipe Queipo

Program Manager and Communications Officer -
UN Department of Global Communications

With more than 17 years of experience at the United Nations, Felipe leads global events such as the Civil Society Conference in Nairobi in 2024, and coordinates university programs like "Ask me Anything" on public diplomacy.

Since 2008 he has worked at building bridges between the UN, civil society, and youth. He maintains a strong connection with higher education institutions, including Saint Louis University (SLU) Madrid, where he once studied. Felipe has contributed to UN publications, consolidating knowledge generated in academic spaces into global resource

Our 21st CTAUN Conference at UN Headquarters in New York "WAR NO MORE" honored the 75th anniversary of the United Nations and its purpose as outlined in the Charter.

The CTAUN GLOBAL CITIZEN AWARD was established in 2017 to honor the memory of CTAUN co-founder Barbara Walker. The first recipient was The Right Honorable Gordon Brown in 2018, followed by Richard Curtis in 2019. The 2020 recipient was Cora Weiss.
