Elizabeth Rule
Dr. Elizabeth Rule (enrolled citizen, Chickasaw Nation) is Director of the AT&T Center for Indigenous Politics and Policy, Assistant Professor, and Faculty in Residence at George Washington University. Rule’s research on gendered violence, Indigenous DC, and Indian law has been featured in the Washington Post, The Atlantic, and NPR, and published in American Quarterly. Dr. Rule is a current MIT Solve Indigenous Communities Fellow and is the creator of the Guide to Indigenous DC mobile application. More than 100 public speaking engagements have taken her to seven countries and three continents. Rule received her Ph.D. from Brown University.
