Dr. Kevin Merges
Dr Merges has presented at conferences around the United States, at the United Nations in New York and Nairobi, and in over a dozen countries worldwide. His presentations and conference exhibits have focused on a range of topics including communication through online environments, artificial intelligence, and virtual reality as it can be used to communicate education to constituents. Additionally, he has presented on international education and global trends in secondary education.
Recently, he has worked with NGOs on integrating advanced technologies such as blockchain and artificial intelligence to serve their constituents. Digital certificates encrypted in a blockchain can be a low-cost way to secure educational records, particularly when relocating from natural or human-caused events. NGOs can use artificial intelligence to individualize support for constituents. It is Dr. Merges’ hope that knowledge of emerging technologies can grow the important work of civil society.
