    There is a wealth of resources related to AI in Education. Below is a sampling of AI related materials primarily from the United Nations, as well as from other sources. We will update this section as we come across new materials, especially those published by the United Nations.

    The UN AI Resource Hub is a "one-stop-shop" where you can explore UN AI activities across different regions and countries. Both UNESCO, the specialized UN agency promoting quality education; and UNICEF, the United Nations Chlldren's Fund, have done extensive research and created programs devoted to AI and education. The AI for Sustainable Development Academy is a think tank with the goal to promote the positive use of AI for Sustainable Development, and to investigate on the negative impact of AI on Sustainable Development.

CURRENT EVENTS

Due to COVID-19 we are organizing a series of webinars online until it is safe again to hold in-person conferences at UN Headquarters in New York. Our most recent webinar "CLIMATE CHANGE AND GLOBAL HEATING: WHAT WE CAN DO TOGETHER TO RESTORE OUR BROKEN PLANET" took place April 22, 2022. Our 21st CTAUN Conference at UN Headquarters in New York "WAR NO MORE" honored the 75th anniversary of the United Nations and its purpose as outlined in the Charter.

The CTAUN GLOBAL CITIZEN AWARD was established in 2017 to honor the memory of CTAUN co-founder Barbara Walker. The first recipient was The Right Honorable Gordon Brown in 2018, followed by Richard Curtis in 2019. The 2020 recipient was Cora Weiss.

TEACHER RESOURCES

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are for everyone and everyone needs to know about them and participate in their implementation. Look for inspiration to teach about the SDGs and other UN topics under the Teacher Resources tab.
