CTAUN Global Citizen Award
With this award CTAUN is recognizing persons or organizations who have contributed in a major way and on a global scale to education, and in particular to promoting global citizenship. The CTAUN Global Citizen Award in memory of Barbara M. Walker was created to honor our founder who passed away in 2016. The first recipient was Dr. Fernando Reimers from Harvard University, who was honored at our 2017 conference. In 2018 the award was given to The Right Honorable Gordon Brown. The 2019 recipient of the CTAUN Global Citizen Award is Richard Curtis, noted film director and SDG Champion. Mr. Curtis was unable to be present in person but he sent a video message. The 2020 recipient is Cora Weiss
